Read widely, skimming through as many primary and secondary sources as you can find that might be relevant for your topic.

Assess the sources to gauge their suitability for your topic. Choose those that seem to have especially significant potential for your project:

Choose 10 relevant works of children’s literature (primary texts)

And 5 relevant scholarly/critical books/articles/web-based resources (secondary texts) related to your focus. 

For each of the above 15 sources, provide the following 4 components
A citation in MLA style
A one paragraph (objective) summary of the source

A one paragraph brief analysis of the source’s validity

A one paragraph assessment of the source’s relevance to your research focus (subjective)
