Continental philosophy tends to deal a lot with epistemology. Epistemology is a branch of philosophy that deals with knowledge. It asks questions like: what does it mean to have knowledge? what is knowledge? how do we come to know? what is truth? is there one truth, or many truths? Epistemology is a foundational concept in the philosophy of education. How does learning about a concept like epistemology affect teaching practice? How does teaching practice help us answer questions related to epistemology?
