Write a 3-5 page essay in which you discuss one or more short story: one should be one we have read for class or one that is in the book; a second (or third) may be from another source if there is a connection (similar plot, same author). You may analyze the story, you may compare stories, you may look at criticism and react to that, you may examine how the story reflects the myth that inspired it, you may look at in the context of mythology broadly (mythic archetypes, for instance).
