Assignment Details
Understanding industrial relations principles, general labor laws, and state-specific labor laws is key when studying industrial relations.
Discuss the following in your main post:
- Whether the differences are relatively minor or major, labor laws can vary based on the specific state law. Discuss a labor law from your state. These kinds of resources can be readily discovered by doing an Internet search on “labor laws (insert your state here).”
- If you were to accept a position in another state, why do you believe that it would be important to understand the state labor laws prior to arriving at your new position?
Students must fully describe all of the elements above and respond to the descriptions of at least 2 other learners.
