Reiterate the central argument from your introduction and clarify why the topic is important. A conclusion should convince the reader, enticing them to agree with you. Avoid referring to the essay itself (e.g. in this essay…) and writing in first person (I believe…). Avoid listing what was covered, instead discuss why it was covered and how it clarified your topic.
