Remember, at the minimum, your essay should
Be structurally sound, containing an introduction paragraph (thesis statement as the last sentence, two or more body paragraphs with clear topic sentences, and a conclusion that introduces no new ideas or evidence.
You must have a thesis statement and not simply a topic statement (See Lecture 4).
You must prove your points by using direct evidence and citations from your studies rather
than just asserting them. You must cite at least once from your lecture and once from your
book to be eligible to receive full credit.
Your essay should be between 500 and 600 words long, double spaced, and use MLA
formatting
