Written Proposal Outline:
1. Introduction (25 points) [2-page minimum]
a. Problem Statement
i. Introduction to the topic
b. Research Question
i. Central Question
1. Sub-questions and/or hypothesis
c. Gap Need for Research
But be able to complete another order of 5 pages of topic.
2. Literature Review (75 points) [5-page minimum]
a. Detailed review of academic landscape regarding the topic
The research proposal is to be a minimum of seven (7) pages. The Literature Review must cite a
minimum of five (5) peer-reviewed journal articles/books. Non-peer-reviewed sources can be
utilized, but do not count towards the five-source minimum.
