Students will choose a week to track mainstream media coverage of Indigenous Peoples in traditional, Internet and social media, analyze their results (story numbers, media outlets, story types, story tone, topics, online comments and and prepare a presentation for class (including two discussion questions). Choose 3 different stories from 3 different mainstream media outlets(CBC,Global news, CTV) and one Indigenous news outlet story for comparison.
