Collaborative and Supportive Relationships in the Early Years Setting
Completion of this assessment will address the following learning outcomes:
1 Identify and explain the nature and key principles of effective communication
necessary for people working in early years’ settings.
2 Discuss a range of communication methods needed to promote good relationships
between early years’ practitioners, families, carers and agencies.
3 Review core values and principles when working with young children.
4 Analyse the importance of promoting equality, diversity and inclusivity in early years
5 Reflect on the role of early years’ practitioner and how good communication and
inclusive practice can impact on developing collaborative and supportive relationships.
6 Outline key milestones and assess how developmental stage impacts on relationships
