Consider the Christian debates and various viewpoints surrounding Jesus and God, from Christianity’s early beginnings through the Protestant Reformation. Do you find any of the competing viewpoints surprising or especially interesting? Do you find any of the theologies comforting or unattractive? Discuss!
Also, what are your observations about the overall process through which Christianity defined its orthodoxies up until this point?
