AIM – to identify and compare different business models in schools in the UAE and what their impact is on the Educational Leaders of those schools.
• This project will investigate differences in the application of business models in schools
• It will analyse the extent to which theoretical practices are followed and attempt to explain any differences found
• It will look at how the Educational Leaders in those schools are impacted by the different models
• How is Strategic leadership and educational involvement impacted by the different models?
• Do the different business models have strategic educational policies and how do the educational leaders apply these in the different schools?
• How is the current teaching and learning impacted by the different business models in the UAE?
• Dissertation to be mainly concerned with educational sector. The project will use Primary and Secondary Schools as a case study. The subject will be analysed from the perspective of Educational Leaders and school business owners in the UAE.

• Current thinking on how educational leadership fits into the school business models
• Current thinking on educational leadership and how it effects teaching and learning in the UAE
• Research the current goals of education in the UAE.
• Research Information on actual business models in the educational industry in the UAE
• Research strategic educational policies in schools
• Methodology to be developed, but likely to include questionnaire or interviews with school educational leaders
• Analysis of visible business strategies
• Analysis of leadership strategies
• Possible opportunities to conduct interviews with selected school corporate managers or school owners Start with a general problem and as a result generalize theory and then end up investigating in a specific case.
