The purpose of Assignment 3 is for you to build on the work you have done for Assignments 1 and 2, and move to the next step in the research process.
Assignment Description:
Your completed assignment must include the following sections and be uploaded into Canvas as a word or pdf file (single-spaced):
1.) Updated Assignment 2 – Review the feedback provided to you by the instructor(s) on Assignment 2. Make any necessary revisions based on the feedback and include the revised content below. Describe any changes in your understanding of the development of research projects in general and your project in particular. THIS IS MY INSTRUCTORS FEEDBACK FROM THE LAST ASSIGNMENT: “This document clearly follows the development of your purpose, research objectives, questions and hypothesis. You’ve been methodical in laying out the process. The descriiption seems to follow a business analysis versus a hypothesis that is pre-determined. You will need to stay focused on the primary research components as you refine this document.”
2.) Based on the research purpose, objectives, questions and hypothesis you described in Assignment 2, you now need to identify and clearly describe the following:
a.)Proposed Research Methodology (i.e. qualitative, quantitative, mixed): Describe the research methodology you plan to adopt for your study and provide a clear rationale for your choice, particularly as it relates to your hypothesis.
b.)Choice of Study Type (i.e. focus group, experimental study, cohort study, etc.): Describe the study type you plan to employ for your study and provide a clear rationale for your choice, particularly as it relates to your hypothesis. Include an explanation as to why this study type is more suitable than other types.
SUMMARY OF ABOVE: Revise part 2 of the world file attached addressing the comments by my professor in quotes above.” Also in the revised part 2, Describe any changes in your understanding of the development of research projects in general and your project in particular.
Start a new section called part 3 (This section is more important) and address 2a and 2b mentioned above.
