Over the past few weeks, youve spent quite a bit of time determining the elements of rhetorical situation that contribute to planning and crafting a piece of writing. Identifying your audience, purpose, context, and genre before you begin writing helps you focus your message and organize your ideas.

Reflection and self-assessment are also important to the writing process. Reflection occurs after youve completed your writing and your audience reacts or gives you their thoughts or feedback about your message. This is the final step of the writing cycle, which can help you identify trends in your writing and areas for future improvement.

In this assignment, youll be asked to re-examine and reflect on the writing youve submitted during this course and consider the responses and feedback youve received from both your peers and your faculty member. Youll then respond to questions about your reflections and the feedback youve received.
