Rubrics
In marking the final paper, the following elements gain you more marks:
Structure: a clear introduction that highlights (roadmap) the various parts of the paper and how each leads the next. Also, the logical sequence of your argument is one of the main aspects.
Argument: The paper deals directly with the question you are answering, no drifting or over-stressing marginal points; i.e., the question is accurately discussed. Claims/views/opinions are supported by evidence.
Themes: Showing good understanding of the themes that we have studied in the course; using them in the adequately throughout the paper.
Style & presentation: Systematic referencing and citation is used properly. The bibliography is correctly formatted and presented. Broad use of suitable references.
Language & syntax: Fluently and plainly written; adequate punctuation and spelling.
