Purpose:

The purpose of your Elevator Speech is to create an excellent initial impression of yourself and your candidacy for employment. It is often the first question asked in an interview. Being prepared with a 60-90 second speech to this question creates confidence and effectiveness when interviewing and networking.

Advice:

Write for your audience. What are they most interested in?

  • Relate your qualities to specifics in their organization and for your desired role.
  • Choose words that are relevant to your audience (Keywords)
  • If you have worked for them already, mention this immediately.
  • If you have been working for a well respected company, mention that.
  • Discuss years of industry experience.
  • Attitude is all-important.
  • Relate their goals to your strengths.
  • Speak in terms of how others see you.

Organize Your Ideas:

After brainstorming your ideas, put yourself in the shoes of your interviewer. What do you think that they would like to hear about first? Industry professionals are interested in relevant experience, where you worked, education, professional accomplishments, length of employment or years of experience. Number your ideas in order of presentation.

Create an Outline:

Use your ordered ideas to create an outline

Write:

Use your outline and write, using topic sentences, details and examples. Speak in terms of how others see you. Quantify any information that you can. Be specific. Be concise. Use industry and organization buzz words.

Proofread and Edit:

Read aloud. Omit repetition. Proofread for tense, word usage, and chattiness. Send to your peer for a review. Final Edit.

So I already prepared my presentation. and I need help to create an outline of the elevator speech.This is my presentation:

My name is Maria, and I recently graduated from Rosen College with a bachelor’s degree in Event Management. My GPA is 3.4.

I have been working as an Event organizer” for the last two years, and most recently, for the last year, I have worked in arranging and organizing Cruises at the Barcel Mussanah Resort.

My group was focused on finding ways to drive tourists and guests to cruises. Our Passion for serving guests and helping crew members, and Strong Problem Solving and Project management Skills Kept Planning.

One of the interesting things, we host international Sailing events and opened Champion Ship, which had Oman Garnered worldwide attention as one of the world’s most exciting event hosts. So that was a big accomplishment.

Right now, in my job search, I am boking. For the opportunity to be an Asset to Mosaic Live Company,” My Passions align with your business as you arrange festivals and live events. My exciting to work with your team and create an experience. For Clients and attendees.
