Write a five paragraph expository* research essay on one of the following topics, or suggest a music-related topic of your own (it must be approved by myself). All topics should be narrowed to a specific point (thesis). The essay must include a minimum of three secondary sources, but direct quotes cannot take up more than 10% of the essay. The essay should be between 800-1000 words in length. Due date 11:59 Thursday, Nov. 4th. The essay is worth 20% of your total mark.
