Your local community house is sponsored by a combination of churches in the area. Collectively, they have produced a mission statement that provides a goal of encouraging young people to avoid sex, drugs and alcohol at least until married and of legal age. They hire counselors to work with teenagers in academic, athletic, and a variety of other activities. They have instituted a policy that prohibits the employment of those who have had children out of wedlock, or had a drinking and/or drug problem in their past.
