No current law would make any sale of the firearm illegal.
Directions: Write a five (5) page paper on Business Ethics which addresses one of the fact patterns shown below. You should state a conclusion, support your conclusion with facts, use ethical analysis in supporting your conclusion, anticipate the counterargument, and rebut the counterargument. You should not write an analysis of all the fact patterns.
Framework: You must analyze the problem based on the decision marking rubric on p.75-76 of Barnes. If you wish to use a different framework, you must have it approved prior to submission.
Recommendations: I recommend you use the CREAC method of organization discussed in class. You can find more information on CREAC at: https://law.lclark.edu/centers/law_school_writing_center/tips_for_better_writing/creac/
Please see the syllabus and LMS for the grading rubric. Please see the LMS for an example paper.
Citations and Facts: This is not a research paper. You do not need to conduct any outside research to complete this assignment. Instead, you should focus your energy on the analysis. If you do use outside materials, you should provide proper citations to the material. You must use APA format for citations unless another format has been approved by your instructor. You should not have to create any additional facts, but you may create or discuss reasonable inferences that support your analysis (e.g., your personal code of ethics, a corporate code of ethics for your business).
