In 250-650 words, I need a personal statement wrriten for my application to the University of Colorado Boulder. This is the prompt given: At the University of Colorado Boulder, no two Buffs are alike. We value difference and support equity and inclusion of all students and their many intersecting identities. Pick one of your unique identities and describe its significance.
I’m open to any interpretation that stays within the prompt asked. I can’t think of any certain unique identities but if it helps, I am a 27 year old female applying as a transfer student. I don’t have many unique identities I can think of because I’m a white, straight female. I was in and out of school throughout my 20s and just graduated with my Associates degree at the local community college where I live in Virginia, so I’m applying out of state to Colorado. I have worked full time for 8 years in the medical field. I help care for my disabled brother who has Down syndrome and he has taught me many lessons in life about kindess, patience, compassion, etc. I love the outdoors and the environment/advocating for a clean environment/sustainability/conservation of nature.
