1. Topic: Choose a topic that you are interested in. This will make your research much more interesting. Also, keep in mind that this is an argumentative paper, and it will be 8-10 pages long. That means you not only need a topic that you can create argue about, but you also need a topic that you can write about for several pages. Finally, when selecting a topic, please keep in mind that the following topics CANNOT be used for this essay:

The Death Penalty
Medical Marijuana
Physician Assisted Suicide
