Part 1
  1. Create a Project Manual title page
  2. Create a Table of Contents indicating all related Divisions applicable to your thesis project, including titles for each section.
  3. Review the Procurement and Contracting sections of the text, and then replicate and revise pages 66, 67, 72, 73, 74, 75 to suit your thesis project specs.
Part 2
  1. Review your Thesis project again, this time in terms of your clients needs during construction. These needs should include
    • site conditions,
    • scope of work,
    • temporary facilities,
    • power,
    • water,
    • hording,
    • safety,
    • security,
    • construction schedule,
    • deliveries to site,
    • washroom facilities, and
    • who is responsible for each function.
  2. Develop a set of Supplementary General Conditions based on research in your geographic area.
    • Observe current construction projects around your city.
    • Look for notable items and various other conditions you may see.
    • Please make notes on who is responsible for each function while on site.
