Part 1
- Create a Project Manual title page
- Create a Table of Contents indicating all related Divisions applicable to your thesis project, including titles for each section.
- Review the Procurement and Contracting sections of the text, and then replicate and revise pages 66, 67, 72, 73, 74, 75 to suit your thesis project specs.
Part 2
- Review your Thesis project again, this time in terms of your clients needs during construction. These needs should include
- site conditions,
- scope of work,
- temporary facilities,
- power,
- water,
- hording,
- safety,
- security,
- construction schedule,
- deliveries to site,
- washroom facilities, and
- who is responsible for each function.
- Develop a set of Supplementary General Conditions based on research in your geographic area.
- Observe current construction projects around your city.
- Look for notable items and various other conditions you may see.
- Please make notes on who is responsible for each function while on site.
