Sociological concepts, topics, and theories show up in your life in many different ways. To help you better see how sociology plays out in the real world, you will complete a course project where you select one piece of media to evaluate.

You may choose a TV show, music genre/group, book, blog, video game, etc.

Your presentation should be created based on the analysis of the media chosen to detail the sociological concepts, topics, theories, and research. For example, a student can choose to evaluate The Handmaid’s Tale from the sociological perspective.

Instructions….
Use this week’s readings, discussion, and other activities to evaluate your form of media. You must be able to discuss two concepts from this week. Use the list below or terms from the Glossary in the textbook to choose two concepts.

In your assignment submission, you should answer the following:

Write at least 1 sentence identifying the media you have selected.
The name and type of media should be clear. For example, simply stating: The Handmaid’s Tale does not confirm if it is a book or TV series.

Why do you feel this is a good choice to explore for the Final Project?
