This assignment will provide you with the employability skills of being able to evidence the ability to prepare in text, photographic and drawing format a formal schedule of condition suitable to adoption before a scheme of major redevelopment that can be relied upon by third parties such as owners and insurance companies for post construction damage assessment.
You will have technical awareness of both the British Standards, Building Regulations ISurv and CIS databases which are used as core industry sources of technical information.
You will be able to undertake a fire door inspection and understand the sequence of investigation.
Drawing and report writing skills
You will be able to use both text, photographic image and drawings. You will be able to use drawing within an existing complex building and create a record drawing of a listed building suitable for professional reports.
