the elements and principles of design (intro to art)
Paper details:
Choose a concept from the textbook to explore and discuss (ie. Gestalt Theory, artistic style and stylization, the elements & principles of design, the Rococo period, etc.) Research and discuss the origins of the concept, how it was present or implemented throughout art history, etc. Use specific examples of art and artists weve studied (as well as any you find on your own) to comment on and support your discussion of the evolution of this concept into the modern art world. Note: While this is a research-based paper, your opinion is welcome.
