This assignment is a literature review on “The impact of extra-pyramidal side effects (EPS) while on antipsychotics.” The starting position is the identification of this concern/problem.
There is a need to show that you can and have systematically searched the literature. Having accessed the literature, using critical reading and thinking skills, you will be able to demonstrate your critical and analytical understanding of the identified concern, need or problem, including contextual issues. Having done so, you will have a strong evidential foundation for making a proposal that seeks to offer a solution in the conclusion, or contribution to a solution, to the concern, need or problem. This solution needs to be innovative and not a repetition to information already out there.
An example can be focusing on identifying how these symptoms impact the service users from their own point of view or the need to make use of assessment tools to help identify symptoms early as they manifest to aid better management. Please be mindful that the school/markers are strict with plagiarism checks. I have attached three assignments on literature review that can help give an idea of what is expected, i&i example 1&2 are good examples as they are level 7 quality writing (but preferably example 2 on BPD), the third is at a lower level 6(highlighted as 6HSK) but again, helps give an idea of what is expected. The other document is a level 6HSK template, but might be helpful.
