PART 1 – Nike: First, read these two short articles about Nike 

 Q2 – Describe any new insights about Nike’s organisational culture that you gleaned from watching the video and reading articles 3 and 4. Why do you think these were not evident in articles 1 and 2?  Q3 – Following the covert survey, what type of change is Nike now undertaking and what were the triggers of this change? (you may want to consider the triggers for change and the nature of change outlined in presentation "Part 1", in particular)

PART 2 – TaskRabbit: (You will need to use the presentation slides on the file named "TaskRabbit") – Watch the video on the first slide of the presentation – After watching the video, answer the following question:

 Q1 – How would you describe the business model at TaskRabbit (i.e. how does the company operate?) and what are the benefits for the organisation of operating in this way? ("Part 3" presentation slides might help) – Then, read the reviews on the following three slides (Slides 2-4) from people who have worked for TaskRabbit – Then answer the following questions: (Feel free to use examples of specific participants – from the reviews – where useful) 

Q2 – What do you think might account for the different experiences of those who work for TaskRabbit? You may want to comment on workers’: – Mode of employment – Psychological contract – Any other factor you find relevant (Presentation slides "Part 3" might help) 

Q3 – Explain Schein’s ‘career anchors’ concept. Which career anchors can you identify in the accounts provided by those who work for TaskRabbit and how might these have contributed to their experiences of working for the company? (Presentation slides "Part 4" might help)
